Construction Timeline
Foundation | Soil and ground are analyzed to ensure integrity of foundation |
Lumber Drop & Framing | Framing usually takes 1-4 weeks. Payant Homes often uses a panelized wall building technique. This means that the walls of the home are cut to precision and built indoors and then brought to the jobsite. This practice minimizes waste and walls are square. Once the walls of the home are complete, roof trusses arrive and are put in place. Then the entire roof is installed. |

Air conditioning (if applicable), heating, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical wiring are installed. After the roof is installed, work begins on the exterior of the home including trim, windows, and doors. HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning (if applicable)) and plumbing systems are “roughed-in” and exterior trim is completed. All mechanical systems are inspected for quality of installation and proper functioning. |
